Our Journey
2002 – Japan Shamsheer Ahmed Kizhakkayil begins his halal food journey as Sales Manager at Nasco Halal Food, Japan.
2005 – Japan Fasalur Rahman Kizhakkayil starts as Sales Person at Nasco Halal Food.
2007 – Oman Fasalur Rahman relocates to the Sultanate of Oman, working across multiple sectors and running retail businesses in Muscat.
2012 – Global Imports Shamsheer Ahmed begins importing halal food products from India, Pakistan, Brazil, and Australia, with operational support from Fasalur Rahman.
Today Shamsheer Ahmed owns multiple halal supermarkets and restaurants in Japan.
2023 – UAE The idea of Halbex is born — a B2B halal food trade platform.
